Riedell heel lifting??
So I just got my roller skates in April.. and I mean like only 3.5 weeks ago. I ended up going with a pair of Riedell skates as they were talked pretty highly of and seemed like they would work well for the light outdoor skating I intended to use them for. I noticed yesterday after skating that the heel seems to be lifting and I am really upset because I haven’t used them super hard in the short 3.5 weeks I have had them.. and upon reading their warranty statement, I am not sure they will do anything to resolve the issue. Does this look like the start of a more serious issue with the quality of the skates? I’m wondering if I should reach out to Riedell or if this is normal after this short amount of time. Does anyone have experience with Riedell customer service? Skates are expensive and I am just hoping they’ll resolve the issue if it will end in my skates being ruined because I don’t want to skate on them and make it worse or risk getting injured because health care is even more expensive than the skates. I’m also curious as to whether this is common with Riedell and if I should have gone with a better skate? I don’t want to do any little at home fixes because honestly, for the price that you pay for roller skates, I don’t feel like I should have to even think about that after less than a month of owning them and lightly using them. Super frustrated. TIA! submitted by /u/Majestic-Class-7480 [link] [comments]
